Happy birthday MOM!

So Layla was napping and Lane and I decided that it was time to give mom her birthday cake...






By the way...soon after this pic was taken we could have renamed our blog to "No Food On The Couch", "Lane, Layla's sleeping", "Why Are There Crumbs All Over Daddies Shoes?" "Lane Please stop!", and last but not least "OMG if You Don't Stop Beating That Bat on the Coffee Table I'm Gonna *******************(fill in your favorite bat threat here)" . Lane was really excited about Mommy having a birthday, he had to blow out the candle multiple times. Finally he allowed Jackie to eat her cupcake but only after he received one of his own that was sufficiently "glued"...glue AKA white icing. Oh and these were some kind of special coffee-mocha-java-ginormous amounts of caffeine-dont give these to small children, breast feeding mothers or pregnant women cupcakes. Needless to say the resulting screaming-yelling-bat beating-crack addicted like state that Lane soon found himself in was not sooo much fun, but like always we got through it.

I realize now that everyone's getting this in an e-mail form. Oh yeah...it's Jackie's birthday tomorrow...4/30 be sure to wish her a happy birthday! She be having a great day at work!

Oh and the day after that...May 1st 2009 Jackie and I will have been married 5 years! I'll be sure to post a pic of the two of us Friday.

Heres a few of our most recent pictures

This first one is of Layla the day before Easter, she's happy and smiling as usual.

Her big brother on the other hand wasn't feeling to good that day but he still sat through a few pictures for us.

They both had a lot of fun the next day when we all went to Jackie's aunt Carol's house to have Easter dinner and hunt Easter eggs. Layla needed a little help from Mom but lane did just fine all by himself (this wasn't his first egg hunt!)


So thats about it for Easter. We went to the circus recently. Layla tried to eat all the popcorn.

Hello folks. We just thought we'd start a little blog about our crazy little life. The main focus is gonna be on our two kids Lane Clifton and Layla Cheyenne with a few pictures and comments from mom and dad thrown in when we get a chance.
