Wings over Houston...

Lane, my Dad, and myself went to the wings over Houston air show yesterday.  We had a Blast...and Lane was WORN OUT!  We got there about 0930 and finally pulled out of the parking lot about 6:30...we sat in the parking lot in traffic for about 90 minutes!  That sucked!  Anyway...here are a few pics of Lane:

He had a front row seat for the whole show....if he wanted it...

Right as the thunderbirds started up....he fell asleep...he didn't sleep long.

And now a few pics of the planes and stuff...

Above is a picture of the Long rifle range...That first berm with the red banners is at 250yds...the first dark berm dead center is 500yds...directly over the top of the 500 (back behind the grey 750 off to the right) is the 1000yd targets...zoom in and you'll see the 4 orange targets.

Shooting the OBR Heavy at LaRue targets placed at 100yds...

Those are just a few of the pictures that we took.  The lines were LONG due to LaRue planning for 1200ish and over 3000 showing up!  BUT The food, the drinks, the shooting FREE.  The merchandise tent was full of good deals and they were giving stuff away left and right...They even gave away a OBR Lite...with a nightforce scope!  Easily a $4000 door prize!  We had fun!
